Construction of a 14-storey residential building involving the use of innovative technologies is expected to be completed this summer. The construction of the pilot nano house is carried out applying composite materials manufactured by Galen.

Galen’s composite mesh was certified by the Center for Certification of Products and Management System in the Nanoindustry.

The 50th international exhibition of composites JEC Composite Show 2015 was held on March, 10-12 in Paris. Galen demonstrated its products at the exhibition, ROCKMESH® composite mesh aroused particular interest of visitors.

A co-project of the Government of Moscow and RUSNANO for construction of a nursery and a school using nanotechnologies is being implemented in Zapadnoe Degunino – one of the districts of Moscow. Galen composite materials are among innovative solutions involved in the project. ROCKMESH composite mesh and façade dowels made from basalt fiber reinforced polymer will allow these institutions to cut costs for electricity and heating in the future.

Composite mesh manufactured by Galen LLC was awarded in the category of “Technical and industrial goods” of the “100 Best Russian Goods” competition and granted the status of the “Novelty of the year”.

Cheboksary-based company began commercial production of its latest development - a composite mesh ROCKMESH®, designed for reinforcement of brick and stone walls, concrete slabs and floors, as well as fencing of roads and railway tracks. The innovative product can replace a traditional mesh of black, galvanized or stainless steel on a modern construction market.
