Light poles Galen-TopGlass have been mounted on the highway M1 Belarus

Composite light poles which are popular in Western Europe take gradually the niche in Russia replacing reinforced-concrete & galvanic products. In August 2012 nanocomposite light poles offered by Galen company were installed on the highway Belarus located in the Smolensk region.

More than 200 light poles made of nanostructured glassfiber were supplied by Galen for the highway M1 according to the contract with JSC ASDOR. This was arranged within the project involving construction of the 3.21 km road junction in the Smolensk region (382 km). The highway section was set into service in October 2012. The federal highway M1 Belarus (Minsk roadway) going along the route Moscow-Smolensk-state border with the Belarus Republic-section of European highway E30 & Asia route AH6.
